Customer Feedback:
We strive to provide quality service to our customers. If we have not lived up to this commitment, we would like to know. If we have met or exceeded your expectations, please let us know that as well. To comment on the services provided at this office, please write to the Center Director, at:

US Citizenship and Immigration Services
California Service Center

Note in the heading of the letter and on the envelope: "FOR THE PERSONAL ATTENTION OF THE DIRECTOR."

Quality service for their customers? laughing.gif ( I haven't laughed so hard since Clinton said he never smoked pot because he didn't inhale.....or was it Gore stating he invented the internet.) What does quality service mean to them? Stop answering e-mails...process applications in 3 4 5 and 6 months while the other centers process in weeks sometimes days! Lived up to a commitment..... Are they jokers? jest.gif Talk about pissing on my leg and then telling me it's raining..WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Blow me down. Where's the "for sale" ad for the bridge in Brooklyn? I'm sure that's coming next. If I had to comment on their service I would need to include a copy of my 1st amendment right because I'm sure there would be some at the CSC office who would conclude I over stepped my bounds. headbonk.gif

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. [u]

I'm sure the people that work there do a good job, but they HAVE to be grossly understaffed as they now deal with Texas as WELL as California covered states.
Although I dont like waiting any more than anyone - given that VSC are so darn fast at their visa processing in comparison - I think it must be quite soul destroying to work at CSC right now...
Maybe you ought to suggest they employ a few more people or start sending stuff over to VSC! biggrin.gif

hummmmm...ok.. if they say so tongue.gif

it all comes down to patience guys...there must be a good reason they are not processing quickly. i mean we have no control over how long it takes so we might as well learn to be patient, although its a pain in the ### sometimes. blah.
KarenCee
I guess I'm just wondering why California doesn't send some of the backlog to other service centers, if only for a time, til they can get caught up. Or maybe that doesn't make sense.... blink.gif

If CSC has a good reason for not processing quickly, does that mean that VSC has a bad reason for processing very quickly?
jasman0717
Does this mean that service will drop off while they are reading their mail?

Hey Manizales Mamba,

You got to be kidding this is the most ridicules statement I have every reed. If they could at least do one thing right but they can’t even do that. They do not answer anything over the telephone, e-mails, the internet, etc. Can anyone tell me one thing they do right for the customer (us). I know they cash check very good and very quick but that is for them.

Peter Miami

Like KarenCee said why don’t they send the TSC or CSC petitions to VSC or NSC? If they are great employee and a great service provider. Why don’t they give any information along the way except everything takes 60, 90, 120 days if you are lucky one or two things take 30 days? If any company would do this they would go bankrupt before they would even open.

Jaylen Brit come on now listen to what you are saying! You know I give appreciation when I have too. Like I have to you for keeping the CSC/TSC list.

Hey bud I don't disagree but I know how govt depts work; I worked for a govt office back in the day and we had a strike up in our main office, which basically meant all computerised applications were down and had to be done by hand, and they sent ALL the outstanding cases (wasnt visas btw) to us. We were overwhelmed, and work quickly became a living hell. The bosses wouldn't employ any new people because a. it would take too long to train them
and b. This strike was just a 'temporary' thing
It actually lasted 9 months - during which half our staff were going off sick due to stress and mental breakdowns caused by stress (which of course left us worse off than before)
That's why I said CSC must be a hellacious place to work right now.
I too think they should outsource Texas to a less busy office - to ME it makes sense - and probably to you as well - its crazy to send a busy center's workload to an equally busy center - but that's not how govt types THINK.
I don't want to wait MONTHS for my visa - my SO doesn't want us to wait MONTHS to be together - and no-one ELSE wants to wait months either - but its out of our hands completely.
isleta521
One theory,

Perhaps in all of the governments "infinite" wisdom and all their rediculous studies that they think if they make us wait then they can weed out those that are not serious from those of us that are (like we are not serious with all this %$# paperwork, ect. ), and make money in the process. Just a reach but who knows.

Another thing. Maybe if they cannot cope then they will just close the CSC (like TSC) and move all to another Center (maybe they are already moving all to Vermont in a big UHaul truck !!!). Also, don't they have a new person in charge of USCIS now?

I agree. If they sent everyone that is in the Eastern time zone to Vermont, those people would get processed a little faster for being sent to Vermont. AND since CSC didnt have to deal with those applications, they could move more quickly through the remaining applications.
KarenCee
We ARE dealing with the US Government here though.... whistling.gif...they are in a solar system all their own it seems

Although I am really pleased for the people going thru vermont its annoying THAT center can get to NOA2 inside a month and CSC takes up to 3 or 4 months (or longer) to get to the same place..
