The DS-230 is the actual application for a visa. The beneficiary is the applicant. Have the foreign spouse forward a signed Ds-230 part I to the USC. You can download a copy of the DS-230 HERE to save time.

The beneficiary (foreign alien spouse who is going to seek the immigrant visa for USA).
