Hoping someone has an answer to this. We have filed I-130's for both my wife and my step-daughter. They are running about two weeks apart. My wife signed and sent in the DS-3032 for herself. My step-daughter (age 11) just received hers asking her to fill it out, sign it, and send back.

My question is; does her mother have to sign this for her and how do we indicate this?

Thanks everyone and the best of luck to all of you!

Thanks for the fast response Ashleigh-Au. Sounds good and that's what we'll do. Best to you!

An email can also be sent from your daughter to NVC to make the choice of agent. That way you are not waiting on mail time. Have a read of the 'NVC Timesavers' thread which is linked in my signature.

Thanks aussiewench. We're going to try emailing them. Did you use NVCINQUIRY@state.gov or USVISA@state.gov? I want to make sure it isn't sitting in the wrong mailbox.

NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Make sure you put the case number in the subject line. Whenever emailing NVC also include the beneficiary and petitioners names and dates of birth.

She will then request the petitioner (name) as her agent to receive mail about her application. All mail concerning her immigrant visa application should be sent to:
