Hey guys, i i hope everyone is doing ok, i need some advice on the 1-134 affidavit of support forms.

My interview comes up soon enough and i was looking over our situation. My fiancee is a student and i have only been a graduate for 6 months, therefore our income required a co. We got mymother in law to be to do such as she has the financial means, however this lead me to some questions. Does my fiancee have to fill out the form as well as my mother in law, since my mother in law really is the financial sponsor, and do they need to be notorised, or is a mere signature and cover letter enough?

Thank for for any help and advice i may get,
Scott.

I would prepare both. If you want to hand in you MIL's I-134 and keep your fiancee's in your pocket unless asked for that is your choice.

I-134 requires notarization

Uhhh ... I was under the impression that the USC (your finacee?) is the sponsor and can have a co-sponsor. But the sponsor DOES fill out their own I-134, which is notarized. Your own income is not a factor.

Is this wrong? Can the immigrant have anyone for a sponsor?

To the best of my knowledge there is no co-sponsor or joint sponsor option when using the I-134 like there is on the I-864.

The US fiance is ALWAYS the primary sponsor, but may have a co-sponsor. If there is a co-sponsor, both the US fiance and the co-sponsor will EACH have to fill out the affidavit I-134 or I-864 and EACH will have to provide supporting documentation.
