Just curious.....has there ever been anyone on here who has found out after months of background checks that their husband/fiance is actually a bad egg? Just curious if this has ever happened.

Not that I have ever seen in the five years I've visited various boards and thousands of cases posted. From all I have ever seen, the security check, as it exists today, is purely a bureacratic job security aid and an excuse to treat immigrants and their families poorly, not a national security aid.

yes, there are members who did find out their SO's had a past that would preclude them from being eligible for a visa. that is what the security clearances are for.
