Just want to keep count as to how NVC is moving along. Hope all is well.

I can tell you my petition was sent to them October 17 from california and I haven't heard a thing since. Its now December 1st. So, I am wondering.

Our petition was approved 7 November and I rang NVC today and they have not received it yet.

Our petition was approved on November 16th and still no word from NVC. The last touch at CSC was November 18th.

Ours was approved October 25th. Called, again, on December 1st and still nothing.

looks like you and I are in the same time frame.

Our petition was approved November 7th, and it has already left the NVC.

Late August filer here, NOA2 Nov 16, and I recieved a letter in the mail today saying my petition will be forwarded to London within 'a week'. I'm not sure if this is a standard form letter or what, though-- Does 'a week' really mean that, or is there still a possibility we'll find out that 'a week' is actually going to be 2 months due to name checks or whatever?

I've been trying to get through on the phone to NVC all day but it keeps telling me all operators are busy and telling me to call back later. It's getting really annoying. Is there a best time to call? I don't have the money to be calling long distance every 30 minutes trying to get through.

No, nothing new for me today either. I too have tried calling this evening and I cannot get through. The recording states that all operators are busy to call back.

Finally got through to the NVC and spoke to a very nice lady who informed me that it was sent out on November 30 (The race is on, Heishe!!! ;D). She seemed a bit confused why I was asking as I also got sent an email on November 30, but the email I recieved didn't say it was already sent out to the embassy, only that it had arrived at the NVC.

Ours was approved October 17, 2006 and no one has any record of our case today either. I have my Senator on top of it. It's BS to get a letter that says that your petition has been approved and sent to New Hampshire and the letter says to call if I haven't heard anything for 4 weeks. After 6 weeks they tell you it's lost and file a new one, and USCIS and NVC blame each other in my ear about the problem. Neither office wants to take initiative to help find it. I have sent FAXES and EMAILS as of Nov. 17 2006 and not a peep.

Thanks to my senator I hope they can track it down.

Update NVC has the packet & gave me a case # this a.m.

Haha, I think we were tracking the same package on the DHL website. There was only one sent to London on the 30th. There was one sent on Dec. 1st though, too, and although the lady on the phone told me my package was sent on the 30th, the NVC letter said Dec. 1st. Anyway, both of those London cases were delivered on the 4th. Go us!

Package was shipped to Embassy 12/6. Im in line with you both.

My NOA2 was Nov 27th. I just called NVC a few minutes ago and my NVC case number was assigned!

Thought i'd be waiting a lot longer than this.. looks like my process is sailing through calm waters.. well atleast for now..

Making it through NVC feels great.

Before we knew that our case had even gone through the NVC my fiance received packet 3 from the Embassy! I received a letter by snail mail today from NVC that our case had been forwarded to Amsterdam. We did not receive an email from them until the day after Rene received packet 3. I have no idea what happened there but we are very happy that things have moved so quickly! Best of luck to those still waiting.

Hmm, we're still waiting on Packet 3. It'll come sometime this week, I hope.

NOA2 September 12th.

NVC has yet to recieve our file, and we're getting nothing helpful out of the Misinformation Line. We've sent a letter to CSC but they've yet to acknowledge it.

Needless to say, we're not exactly pleased.

Same here, pop me a PM when you get yours if you remember to! We know we won't be sending it back immediately because Adam forgot to apply for the police report until just last week , but we're trying to get everything else in line with the next 30 days.

I emailed NVC on the 14th... today I got a answer that they received it and entered it into the sytem.. I've got the case number also..

How do I check on it it's statis ?

Just called NVC today and was told that the Choice of Agent form and the AOS fee bill have been generated. I'll be sending that back to the NVC tomorrow using Jame's shortcuts
