As I've said, our I130 was rec'd on 16 Nov. Still no NOA1. This seems unusually long.

This is judging by timeline searches. Is it worth calling them, or waiting a little longer.

Any advice, ideas, suggestions?

First thing I would do would be to confirm that they cashed the check or money order. Call your bank or the number on your money order receipt. If they have, give them a couple more days, and then call.

dont forget that they didnt work thanksgiving and the friday. i wouldnt worry about not getting a NOA1 yet. let another two weeks pass and then call. i worry alot about not having a NOA2 (NOA1 is from august) while people with a NOA1 from october already got approved in CSC.

I sent in I130 on 11/17 and haven't got the receipt. But I checked my online banking and my check is cashed. I got my EAC# from the back of the check even though I have received nothing from VSC.


Oh forgot to say, after I found out my case number, I added it to my case status on USCIS website and then got the latest update to my case, such as receipt date, and current status. AND they touched my case this morning! Is that COOL?

And Richisusie - I would check with your bank too. I wouldn't worry too much for the next few days at least.

we sent our I-130 on June 26, 2006 to CSC, didnt get the actual NOA until July 22,2006

what i am seeing on VSC processing is very very dicouraging... I think VSC is dropping the ball lately

We got a fairly quick response and NOA1 back for our I-130 which was mailed in the same time as yours. See my signature for timeline.
