Hey ! Do any of y'all in the DFW area go to the Londoner Pub ? Its in McKinney and its the closest I seen to a pub so far! They sell strongbow (though a little pricey at $5.25 a can) and I ate bangers and mash !

Its owned by an english bloke and he has two other pubs somewhere in the area good.gif

I am moving to Boston so know nothing about English pubs in Texas! However I saw no-one had replied to you and I just wanted to say I'm very happy for you that you found a slice of home in Texas, because y'all seemed quite excited about it! laughing.gif

There is an Irish type pub in Indianapolis that I went to with my fiance in June. It wasn't very authentic (bit too clean and well decorated for a start! laughing.gif ) but it wasn't bad. It was more like a Wetherspoon's pub than an actual authentic pub.

Glad you've managed to find somewhere anyway. Cheers m'dear! *clinks glass*

Fortunately I live in New York, so English and Irsh pubs are plentiful (especially the Irish). And they are not cluttered with british or irish stuff to make it look "authentic".

There's a pub by that same name on Midway and Beltline in Addison (North Dallas). I wonder if he owns that one as well.
