My Fiance on K1 will be coming into the U.S. at Newark Airport

can anyone tell me what to expect at the airport entry for immigration?

Do we have to split up since they usually have seperate lines for US Citizens
than for immigrations, Im worried as we will be coming in early morning
at 500am after 15 hour flight

How long might it take to process her through, will I be allowed to wait
nearby for her, or should we make sure regardless of the seperate lines
that we enter together?

any info, thank you
Kath
hi
when i arrived i came through LAX..my now husband was with me..went into the U.S. citz line together he went first then i..

he hung around with me and the officer said go get your luggage sir she wont be long..the officer asked for my envelope and he opened it up checked it all out compared it to my pasport and visa stamped and wrote on my I-94 the date it will expire..and i was on my way...

i found my husband with only 2 suitcases on the trolley..was painless and not long at all...the only hiccup i did have was the steward on the plane didnt give me the correct forms to fill out (when i told him i needed the white form i might add) so i just filled it out an he carried on seeing passengers while i did...

good luck

My husbands POE was Newark, he said it was really easy, you go to secondary checks, they open you envelope, stamp the i-94 and staple to the passport. And that's basically it...they didn't ask him any questions.
