Hi! All,
I'm filing I-864 for my mom. I want to sponsor my mom by my own since my income is enough. But I've been jointly reported tax with my husband every year, and it shows in the Federal tax return transcripts too. Do I have to have my husband sign a I-864A? Or can I use my own income which do not match with the tax return transcript?
Thank you very much for your help!!

Two ways, provide them with the tax transcripts, along with copies of your W-2 forms, the W-2 will show your income separate from the joint return amount, also a letter from your employer showing what you make in salary.
Or have your husband file an I-864A with you.
I assume you have naturalized, only US-Citizens can petition for their parents, not in-laws.
