I have noticed that you have done a lot of research and thought maybe you could help me out. I have been reading everyone elses experiences and hoping to get some answers. Anyway, our papers were sent to Ciudad Juarez on Jan 23, 2006. My husband wrote to the embassy and they stated a 6-9 month wait for an interview date. (CR 1) We still haven't received a letter stating the embassy has received our case but I know they have it because they have responded to us with our NVC case number. I am trying to find out if he is going to receive the paperwork from the embassy or am I? I have read where the petitioner has received the appt. letter in the U.S. and what is the approximate wait time for an interview date? Thanks for your time. I'm a newbie on here.
