I was reviewing some immigration timelines and noticed that an October I-129F received an NOA 2 already. So, wanted to start tracking them. Anyone else? I know it's still very early, but I'm getting antsy, especially since the couple that got their NOA 2 had an NOA 1 date one day after us. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Thanks. Yes, I have seen this. But the purpose of that thread is different. The purpose of this thread is specifically to track recent filings, particularly since so many of them have been transferred to other service centers. I am hoping this will become a thread that will make it easy for recent filers to keep abreast of the experiences of others in a similar situation - not someone who filed months ago or who had issues because of the IMBRA transition.

We filed the K1 in October also so I will be very curious to see how close our timelines are to others that filed at about the same time. Eventually we will be dealing with the embassy in Hong Kong.

Received 1st NOA on 10-16.

I know there are likely hundreds of people ahead of me, but I hope to hear something very soon.

we also filed in October 06 - NOA1 received on 11th October, and touched on the 16th October - nothing since then...I too am getting impatient about the long wait ahead...

Find a hobby.. you have at least another month before they'll even think about giving you a NOA2 usually.. unless you sent it to Vermont.. and then you should of had it weeks ago..

I definitely have some hobbies and other things to keep me busy...but this website has become my newest hobby, especially since it relates to my life and the women I love (my wife and step-daughter). The reason I started this thread is because I noticed that at least one "October NOA1" couple had already gotten an NOA2...and I wanted to see if other did as well. We all suspect that things might move faster now that I-129Fs got transferred from Missouri to other service centers - so I wanted to track it.

And, guess what, it's TRUE! I'm loving the CSC right now. Minutes ago I got an e-mail indicating that our petition has been approved! Only 40 days since the NOA1 date. I hope others will get the same good news soon.

Hi Sankofa, wow you are right. I am hoping we can get the visa by sometime in February but won't be worried until April due to the expiration of my fiancee's employment contract. She is from the philippines so if she has to leave Hong Kong we will have to start all over again I think. Best of luck to you and to everone waiting for thier approvals.

I'm waiting on my NOA2 I filed on Oct 5th went to the CSC. Just playin the waiting game, hope mines comes up sometime this month or the next. But congrats anywaz.

Looks like they're getting round to the early-October filers now - congratulations to those who have their NOA2s! I know ours is, at best, 3-4 weeks away, but... a girl can hope, and I've got my fingers crossed we're going to be among the lucky ones who get approved at around the 70 day mark. We got touched earlier and APPROVED email was received tonight!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! And I am going to Brasil next week for over a week of vacation with my fiance!!! We are so excited now!!!
