Hello All,

I am on the verge of sending in my DS 230, pending its generation, hopefully in a few days. As a heads up, I just want to know what comes next. From what I gather the NVC will review the I-864 and DS 230 for completeness and then forward it to the embassy. I have the following questions.

1. How long is the review for completeness.


2. Does the NVC assign an interview date or the embassy is responsible for that?

3. Who notifies you on your interview date, NVC or Embassy?

4. Do the embassy send you anything before your interview or you just go in there on the day of the interview. (I see a lot of mentions about Packet 3 and 4), Does this apply to K-3 too).

Any additional info... will be higly appreciated...

4. Yes it applies to K-3 They send packets 3 and 4 to the beneficiary.
