Hi all,

Hope all your visa journeys are going well..

We have just booked our flight to the US for next year, I havent had my final interview yet, but the prices are so good at the moment we couldnt pass up the oppertunity..

Our question is this.. when you book the flights you have to fill in additional passenger information, this includes greencard number, etc..

after my interview, if successful will I know my greencard number ???, or should this be left blank for this flight ??

Thanks in advance good.gif

You are not entitiled to a Green Card until you have *entered* the US.

Right now, you hold an immigrant visa and it will be examined by the airline staff before you check in, which will serve the same purpose as the question you're being asked now.
Basically, they have to make sure you have the right entry docs for the US (becasue if they didn't, and you didn't, they'd have to pay your flight home).
