I have read it is *normal* to not show up in the system, but I thought it might be interesting to post timelines of the case-that-does-not-exist people, maybe it is my imagination but there are alot of us out there. It might ease our minds to see that other people don't exist either, and to track when they Do Exist compared to our own NOA dates.

My son-in-law has been getting "does not exist "for his renewal EAD since his NOA dated 1-13-2006

Wow lisa you haven't existed for 2 months?! I definitely think something is fishy here.

I have been waiting since I got a NOA1 1/31/06 ... seems like everyone who got a NOA1 for that time period is having the same problem. Makes me wonder if they just misplaced a box of applications like OURS.

I know I'm worrying bout nothing since its been like a week and a bit, but here the funny thing is, my EAD and AOS excist online, but my son for some reason doesnt add to it and is still 'unexcistant' yet he had a biometrics letter etc....

OMG who said lost a whole box of apps?!! holy cow, my heart just went POMPOMpewwwww. Well of the "don't exist club" I guess when one of us gets NOA2 then we kinda exist, even if not in the online kingdom. I guess we should post if we get that before ever "existing".

so please, please please uscis set my mind at ease!! somebody get NOA2!

1/31/06 recieved NOA still dont exist

Sorry, same song, different day! We still do not exist!

Well I did hear from a fellow VJ'r that "doesn't exist" they finally got someone on the phone to say they were approved. Made me a little happy, except when I called mr. misinformation man, he talked a bunch of jive to me. But he DID "see me" in the system.

Yep me and my son got our bio appt letters on 03/04/06. Yet still no sign of his case.....

we had our AOS interview 3-1-06. On 3-6-06 touched and we lno longer existed. On 3-7-06 (very late at night) touched again and reappeared in system as APPROVED.

I finally became very frustrated and phoned USCIS this morning. My EAD was approved in February - they just forgot to notify me. We should have received a letter with a Biometrics appointment date - they just forgot to send it. The officer was very nice and is going to try to rectify this today. Our AOS applications are in the system and being progressed.

All that said, when I look them up online at the USCIS website the EAD is still being processed and the AOS applications are still non-existant. I guess the moral of the story is not to rely on the online status thing at the USCIS website as it is far from up to date.

Just because your case doesn't exist online, does not mean your case is lost or missing.

When waiting for our NOA2, our case didn't show up online until we were approved. And that was 65 days.

When waiting through the AOS process, the only time it changed was when we were waiting for my green card to arrive. And that was 5 months after filing??

I wouldn't worry too much about it. But that's just me.

We got our bio appointment today for april 8th(a saturday)
we still are not in the system online.I have called though just to make sure we were in the"system"and we do show up thier

I just got off the phone with uscis to find out about why i cant see my case online. First of all i could barely understand him becouse he was foriegn. Anyway he told me they don't update there cases online and it doesn't matter if its there or not. I asked him how i will know if i been approved? He said they will then put it online when it is approved. So i guess i won't be able to see it till then. Just have to wait

I've said it before, I'll say it again WHY HAVE A SYSTEM that is supposed to be beneficial, when they don't update it and it doesn't matter if its there or not!!!! argh!

We exist with some applications and not others.........

When calling the 800 number the rep only has access to the "automated system" which is the same as what you see online. For further status you have to speak to an immigration officer who has access to the "national system" or so they called it or just make an infopass appointment

Oh thank god i can finally see my case online after 2 months of waiting. Yippee!!!!!!!

No case online but we have our interview date set for May 9th

Half of our case is online.The EAD is but not the actual AOS.Oh well we have the inerview I aint complaining
