I never bid on ebay before I moved to the US but my husband likes it... he got me into shopping for craft supplies and now I'm trying to get clothes for us both cheaply because we can't afford them new (we need extended sizes and they cost a FORTUNE!)

I collect angels that play the flute (I've played since I was in grade 7) -- figurines, christmas ornaments, anything that has that image -- my collection is up over 100. I look for them on ebay occasionally -- I've found some really old ones that normally I would never come across.

I'm looking to start a craft business (possibly) and I've started to price some supplies on there to see if it's cost-effective.

We mainly buy Cisco stuff for his lab. We've got some books too, as I love old hard back illustrated books.

Ebay is a good way to find collectors, clothes....

I buy whatever I happen to be looking for at the time. In the last few weeks I bought a digital camera, camcorder, DVD movies and food coupons. I have bought over 150 items and only had one problem. Guy sold me a Sears electric grass clipper as new and it was used.

I LOVE Ebay........................I love vintage clothes and things so Ebay is the best place to find unique items(I look around at second hand stores when I have the time).

I have sold tons of things on Ebay as well. Just bought another pair of Uggs for myself-retail therapy for my stress

never EBAY ... but I used to get alot of things on auction when egghead had their original auction site.

I bought one thing of EBAY. My son buys stuff from there all the time.

I bought my wedding dress and veil off of ebay---SO CHEAP! and brand new. $85 for the dress, $4 for the veil. I like bargain hunting. But I haven't bought anything since.

Me, too...I found my wedding dress on e-bay when I was still in Germany and it was a great bargain. I would have never been able to afford this kind of dress otherwise

I'm an eBay junkie! I buy a lot of new clothes, even gently used clothes for myself and my kids all the time. I like the name brands without the name brand prices. I also sell items on occasion to support my habit!

I usually sell on ebay but I have got our wedding bands, my shoes, some hair jewel things and a cheap garter for the 'toss' all in the past little bit.

right now, we sell more than we buy .... so if anyone likes really expensive banknotes ......

2-3 times a year/Anything that catches my eye.../I like bargain-hunting.

I only use "Buy It Now". If I can't do that, I won't buy. I hate bidding!

I bought a games machine off Ebay once some years ago for my younger son for xmas....it didn't work so my elder son swapped it for his rapidly on xmas day....

I buy in spurts. Only had one bad expierence. Lady took 3 months to ship the item then left me bad feedback.

Mostly get clothes, perfume (aeromatics elixir) lots cheaper than buying from the store. A woman at work got me started and it's nice to find a bargain once in a while. Just have to be careful and do your homework before you big.

We just recently had to start a new acct, but we have used eBay off and on since about 2000, both as buyer and seller, although mostly for selling.
For the most part, right now, the main things we have been buying are for us to ship the items we sell (digital scales, bubble wrap, etc)

I bought a mermaid necklace on there years ago, and the guy sent me two unicorn ones with it....was really nice. Never shopped on there since though.

I use them mainly to buy supplies for the jewelry I make. I prefer to use eBay stores because those products are brand spanking new.

If you are looking for it...I swear you'll find it on eBay! hehehe And PayPal makes it easy peazy!

eBay RAWKS!

I usually buy bits and pieces for musical instruments; mouthpieces, pad sets, ligatures, reeds... Things I can pick up a little cheaper but are also hard to find without going down to Boston.

I've been buying and selling on Ebay for about 3 years. Never been ripped off once either. I think it's a fab place but always check online elsewhere before you think you're getting a bargain. It's not always so!

I never can seem to win the auction! I always get outbid, and then I never have time to go back right before the auction ends to win it back. I have only been successful twice.

I love Ebay! I mostly buy collector stuff there. I love getting my sorority items from there...especially very old stuff

I also get workout DVDs and other stuff

Our wedding rings came from ebay. So did my dress and shoes.

Recently, my grandmothers home was burglarized (house was vacant) and among what was stolen was the one thing I wanted to remind me of my grandmother - a pair of figurines. I was able to locate another pair on Ebay and I bought those. Of course they aren't the ones that Nana had, but I still kind of wanted them as a touch of her style in our home.
