I always carry my passport around whichis not a good idea so Iam thinking to get a State ID so I can use it insead of my pasport " that I am worried i may lose it "

so does any one knows how to apply for a State Id and where?

some states offer such, some don't. i'd suggest asking your local driver's license office about such.

You can get one at the Secretary of State's office. I think you need two forms of id. One being your passport and the other could be your Social Security card.

I don't have my social secuirty Number , but can I use my marriage papers.. ???

Here's a link to instructions on how to get a state id. I know you can read English, Salwa, but I thought it was cool they had instructions in Arabic...
