it's 7am in Morocco.
Yupppiiii, it's FINALLY friday... only 8 hours work left, and i'll be with my hubby for an other full weekend...

What are our plans for tonight??... We'll go to cinema ... Last week we saw "Indigènes" (famous French movie about North african soldiers participating in WWII with the France's side)

I'll suggest him we see "Mabel" this time (American movie, some of the scenes were filmed in Southern Morocco) !!

My prayers for this Jumuâa : "May Allah helps us in acachievingur goals and making right decisions"

yup... TGIF! is it 7:15 already???? Full day ahead... full steam ahead. One of my favorite gigs tonite (and local, so no driving! wooo!). My family from AT and my friend from out of town will be coming for dinner tonite to see my show. Hopefully my newly remedied skirt will pull thru and stay on my azz! . My gig for tomorrow cancelled and I'm *not* bummed about it. Hopefully I'll have my scooter in my possession by tomorrow! YAY

I'm off today, just like most Fridays ... but the best part of today is at noon when I get to pick up my hubby at the airport! now i just have to convince him a stop to Lowe's is in order

Yay for Friday! It's my longest work day of the week, I have to be back at work tomorrow morning, and then my second job at night. So after work tonight I will be cleaning the house. Fun fun! It's only 9:20 and we are so busy here. It's nice and sunny today. Very nice weather that I get to miss because I have to work until 6! Oh well, maybe I have off Sunday. So I don't have anything new to talk about. So have a good day everyone.

I'm not having very good bus luck as of late. Yesterday, the bus got in an accident further up the route, so had to take the one that came 20 minutes later, making me late for work.

Today, there was an accident on the corner by my stop, and the bus couldn't figure out how to get around it, making me late again.

Re-interviewed????????? He hasn't been there since Nov. 7th. I called yesterday and they told me about the AP. I guess my call was the considered as him interviewing again. What goes on at this place?

Today is our 6 month anniversary .... I love being married

So this huge theatre just opened in my area. It's IMAX with stadium seating ... the works. We have never had anything this nice .. seriously. Sooooo I'm mad cuz yesterday was the grand opening, right ? This guy at my work is freaking passing out free movie passes. So I get all excited and think "Im gonna trick Ali and he will think I planned a romantic night out for us ... I'll tell him the truth after the movie". Welll turns out the passes were only for last night Why am I so sad ? Cuz on Thursday nights Ali has English classes and I have Biology with lab. There was no way we could of made it ... unless we played hookey. Which was still not pssible since we need to keep our high grades. I was seriously sooo mad.

Soooooo I'm hoping after yesterday's bad day ... maybe Ali will surprise me and take me this weekend If anyone wants his cell phone # to suggest the idea to him let me know.
Anyways today is my last day of work, then next week I get to sit at home all day and eat No college or work next week for Massouna

Today is a good day for me.

Playstation 3 went on sale here starting this morning (line has been queing up since Monday outside of Best Buy) but did my hubby go to get one for his nephew? HECK NO! Yesterday he went to the mall with the guy he rides home from work with and when I got him he gave me a jewelry store gift bag with a beautiful saphire ring and a diamond (ok, only tiny ones cause he knows how I feel about the real big ones) necklace in it. Who here has been talking to my hubby? Our first anniversary is one month from yesterday so I told him thanks for the early anniversary present.

Today at work is making me crazy because I had a huge list of stuff to get done but have been interrupted all day. Then I had forgotten my lunch, but a bunch of us went out so that was taken care of. Only now I'm too full to want to work. We went to a southern buffet and I had: a huge salad, fried chicken, blackeyed peas, macaroni & cheese, corn on the cob, banana pudding, peach cobbler & sweet tea. Could somebody please roll me over because I can't breathe!

We don't have any special plans this weekend yet, but do have to go buy my mom a birthday present, and pull the recipes for my part of Thanksgiving dinner (I get to finally do some cooking this year!) and I have to finish reading the literature for my research project, and gathering the final data and running the regressions. I don't think I'll be bored.

Noura, Too bad you're so far away. Checking out your show tonight would give us something to do. Abdel has already seen the clips you put out on the net and says you're a really good dancer. I know we'd both enjoy it.

Charles, when do I get a car? Or do you not know me well enough yet? You know I've already seen your hairy back now, so you're practically family. Thank goodness I don't have to clean the shower after you!

My mind has been doing flips since mondays travesty with my husbands interview.

I am not doing anything special. I am unpacking, just moved to a new apartment, gonna get some sleep, and hope to get an email from Casa. They actually already emailed me back... after the 3 emails I sent, they ask me for his name and case# which is all 3 emails, so now Im wonderin "WHAT THE HELL?"

Spoke to the congressmans rep that is handling me husbands case, he'll let me know something by monday he says. He emailed them... Is that what they usually do? If he doesnt have a reply by monday, he is going to call. So thats good newz. Made an appoinment with Infopass.... for nothing, they dont have any info this soon. Talked to USCIS on the fone 3 times today.... Now they will be mailing me this form for extra info.. on what? Beats me?

So my friday, is pretty much the same as my monday, tuedsday, wednesday and thursday of this week....


Tryin to pretend like this didnt happen ain't helpin.......... not in the least.

Now I have to go all weekend with no action......

How ironic is this...... ?

My husband works at the United States Peace Corps in Morocco, the Consulate is having some annual shin-dig and my husband was chosen to do security there. The chick that interviewed him, IS ON THE VIP LIST...........

Other than that... BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, Typing up exams for my class on monday.....

That's so sweet of Abdel not to get you a big real diamond. I think I would rather Hicham spend 300 dollars on his family than give me a Zales mall ring but that's just me.

Poor Abdel, from what you write about him he must feel like your child and not your husband. I can't imagine he likes being treated like an infant. I don't think men like being controlled 100% by a woman, especially a man from Morocco or the ME.
