Does NVC send a notice in the mail that they received your I129F and/or I130 petitions? Is there any other notifications i might receive before Marie gets her first Packet. We are trying to get a fix on when the consulate should be getting the petitions so then we will have a better idea when Marie should be expecting a package from Delbros. Thanks Everyone-Gary

The Jame's shortcuts are good for the I130 petition, they talk alot about what happens at the NVC - I'm not sure about the K3 though.

Here's the link to the shortcuts: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ost&p=31097

You can start calling NVC about a week after approvals to see when they receive. The k3 will get shipped out to embassy while nvc will generate AOS bill and Fee to you on the k1.

NVC can also confirm when the embassy receives the approved petition as well. I beleive I did receive a letter from nvc but it was nearly a month after and I had already called to confirm.

Since your k3 approved at the same time, it will beat the k1 to the embassy. You have a decision to make on whether to hedge your bet and pay the IV bill and AOS fee to the NVC or persue the k3 to get your spouse here. Those fees are non-refundable.

Delbros is a bit later, after your spouse completes medical and interview you are directed to pay a delbros fee for delivery of your approved visa.

NVC - For immigrant visa inquiries, call the National Visa Center at 603-334-0700, provide your case number to get update on your case.

When making a call to NVC, there is no options for case number start with MSCXXXXXXXXXX. Do all K-3 folks get case number start with MSC?

MSC is your USCIS case number, you will have a new NVC case number - hopefully someone will pop on and tell you how to find out what it is smile.gif

I received a letter from NVC once my approved I-129F petition had been forwarded to the Embassy. It took a couple of weeks.

Buena Suerte!!!

Hey there!....You know? We have so much in common! Boy I hope my petition process moves as wuickly as your did! I married my Filipina wife on Aug 3rd when I was there for 3 weeks. She is pregnant too just like your wife. My wife is due April 11, 2007. Will the airlines allow flight of pregnant women in their 3rd trimester?
Anyway, My I-129F is in processing now at CSC. I havent heard anything from the I-130.
I sure would like your email (if you dont mind), I'd like to keep in touch. By the way, my name is Gordon and I live in Oregon. What did you do to get your state reps to help you? Please......respond. If you'd like, shoot me an email at pendleton_boy@yahoo.com....Thank a million!
Gordon
