Well, what can i say. I live in the US and fell inlove with an English man. We plan to be together but its very hard. I dont know where to start on the paper work or if i need any help. Meaning, do i need a lawyer or can i just do it myself. Im a bit of a control freak and want to make sure everything is done PERFECT.

Some info about me ...I live in NYC and work for a Banking Firm, 25 and Latin and inlove. Love dogs and the English lol... and he (Luke) will be coming over in a few weeks. I need someone, anyone to tell me how to get the ball rolling on this.

Well Angelica....."PERFECT" is the key word here. To speed things up, best to do it right and do it right the fierst time. Having been through this process, I used a lawyer and considered this to have been well worth while. You need to either get advice here about the materials you will need for a K1 visa, or from the BCIS web site. You can download the forms. He will need to get documentation there and as he is comming soon, would be good if he brought all the materials with him. Yours should be an uncomplicated case. Good Luck! George
