Hi everybody,

It's already 4 weeks since i took the k-3 interview in Casa... and still NO NEWS!! The CO told me that the A/P will take ABOUT 2 months, but sometimes i'm not that patient !! and i want to do sothing ranting33va.gif

I need your help my friends!!

Since my husband is here with me in Morocco, we want to act "in advance", coz we fear that this process will go beyound the date they gave us blink.gif

Is there "a specific" person / department / etc. in Morocco or USA we should call or contact??

what do you suggest us to do??!! plz share with us your ideas

Thanks in advance

sorry to hear this. I hope the time goes faster for you. I wish there was some advice I could give you. The only thing I can say is "patience is bitter, but it's fruit is so sweet." Take care and enjoy the time you have with your husband.

Awww Najia,

It's a terrible feeling to wait without any control on the timetable. I also wish I had some advice to give you, but these things at the stage you are in can;t be rushed. I hope someone here knows something I don't and can correct me.

Hang in there. We are looking forward to see you in the US very soon! rose.gif

awwww.. Najia, I was just thinking of you this morning! I wondered if there was any news yet on your case. I'm not sure what advice to give you but I just want to say you and your husband are both in my prayers. I hope you are here in the USA soon. I can't wait to meet you in person. Also, PM me if you want to try to hook up w/ Said while your hubby is there. Hopefully he will be coming home to me in December, inch'allah.
Much love,
Noura

I have been thinking about you and wondering if you received your visa or not. I'm glad you posted this topic. I'm interested as well! I am baffled by the quickness of visas issued and the time others have to wait for their visas. It's frustrating. We were told 1-2 weeks. I'm not very patient and I waited a week to call DOS to see if the security checks were cleared. They have no record of any being requested. Have you tried calling DOS to ask about the security checks? At least that is one way to see if your case is moving along. This waiting is a real test of patience. I'm sure that you will here something soon.

thanks girls for your support !!
Noura, when Said is going to USA?? wish you Good Luck!

yes, i need to be patient, but to be frank, whenever this topic comes to my mind it lets me in an upset mood crying.gif I can't imagine, that i'll be with no news when my husband will be back to USA !! oh, my God, i hate to think negative crying.gif

I remember that once, while checking VJ, i read about a member (I don't remember her name) from Louisiana whose finance/husband is from egypt and they went thru a couple of weeks A/P she ended up contacting the senator or representative!! I need to PM her and get some advice!! plz anyone recongnize her, post her name, or if she is reading this plz drop me a line

her name is melodyjeanne
let me know if you need more contact info than that... I'm in contact w/ her too. She's in New Orleans area.
Jenn!
You can call the DOS to see if your name checks are still underway. That way you'll know whether the hold up is in the U.S. or in Casa.

We've been through a post-interview wait too so I understand your feelings. But as the others have said, there is really very little you can but wait. They have to follow their process for whatever reasons they have. I do know ME/NA men with very common names seem to take a bit longer to go through the checks. I don't know a lot about the Morocco Embassy but I'm sure once you're in AP/AR that's where you are until they decide they're done.

Be thankful you are with your husband. At least you have each other at this difficult time. Focus on your future plans and it will make the time pass by a little less painfully. I wish you both the best future.

I completely know how you feel! It has been 7 weeks since my fiancee's interview in casa. I know the case is in Washington D.C. but that is all I know. I called the DOS and the consulate and both told me I just have to wait until the case is cleared through Washington. I wish I could tell you differently, but it seems we just have to wait. Good luck! My prayers are with you.

I hope your wait and everyone else who is waiting is over soon. Good luck. Maybe today will be the day you hear good news.
