stillwaiting!
Hi all,
I had my medical exam done, and on the vaccination sheet, the doctor ticked what I have had, and everything else was medically inappropriate due to my age. However, I have just noticed at the bottom where they have to tick to say whether you meet all the requirements, he has ticked the one that says -no, but may be eligible for a waiver.
Why is this? I have had all the ones that are medically appropriate! Is this going to affect the decision of the interviewer? I have my interview in London in a few weeks, and am panicking!
Thank you for your help!

all they did was put a little annotation on my actual visa that said 212(g)(2)(cool.gif.....

all that means is..........

QUOTE
9 FAM 40.11 PN4.2 Waiver Under INA
212(g)(2)(cool.gif
(TL:VISA-342; 01-08-2002)
INA 212(g)(2)(cool.gif provides a waiver, in any case, where the panel physician
determines that a required vaccination is medically inappropriate. In such
cases, the panel physician will indicate this on the Form DS-2053, Medical
Examination for Immigrant or Refugee Applicant. Consular officers may
then authorize a waiver in accordance with INA 212(g)(2)(cool.gif. The consular
officer should then check the appropriate waiver box if the vaccination is
considered inappropriate for any of the following reasons:
(1) Not age appropriate;
(2) Contraindication;
(3) Insufficient time interval between doses;
(4) Seasonal administration; or
(5) Vaccine unavailable.
