Hi

I am having some trouble with figuring out where to send my first package to start our k3 process. I checked the website but the link is not working for locating the service center and I also checke d the forum in VJ. I live in Texas.. Does anyone know where I can find this info plz. ALso, is there a particular service center that is faster or are they all random in that aspect? THanks guys

The guides are your friends: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k3guide

You first put together the I-130 package and send it to your service center, it is listed in the instructions included with the I-130.

For you it is Texas Service Center

When you get your NOA1 for the I-130, you then prepare your I-129F package, and again send it to: Texas Service Center

Actually, all K3 petitions are sent to the Chicago lockbox NOT to a local service center. This is in the instructions provided with the forms.

Also, to answer your question, some service centers are faster sometimes, sometimes not. Luckily you don't have to worry about it because you have no choice of where you send it, you have to send it to the required center.

Send the I-130 to Texas Service Center and when you get your NOA1 receipt then you send off your I129F petition to the NBC aka the chicago lock box.

I have updated the Guides with the new links to the USCIS website.
