Amed and I had our big wedding on Nov. 4th. It was chaos leading up to the date (I got strep throat 4 days before the wedding), but everything paid off. It was absolutely gorgeous! We had it outside by a creek at sunset. We had a bagpiper play the processional and recessional, and it was a total surprise for Amed. He loved it! Once I get some pictures back I may post them.
Amed's friends came from the mosque and did our Islamic ceremony in a private room after our regular ceremony. It was very nice and they stayed to enjoy the festivities. The next day, we left for a week in Hawaii! It was so beautiful there. I highly recommend going there.
We got back in late Monday night, and I am back at work today.
