Full Version: great news.....tomorrow is the day
Yaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. My baby just called me. He told me tomorrow he will get the VISA!!!He told me he had a man for his interview.. I will talk to him again online later today.

Othman says at the end of the interview he was given a small green receipt and was told to please come tomorrow at 3 pm to get the visa and they will keep the passport until he gets it tomorrow. I will post in the morning after work under embassy review what all was said at his interview.
He will buy his plane ticket on friday. We are hoping he will be able to leave on sunday.

Thank you everyone. I am so very happy that my prayers were answered. It has been so quick for us as I just got started with all of this on July 5, 2006. I am soooo sorry for those who are still waiting. 
It is hard to understand why a very very select few get the visa so quickly and why others have to wait months or even a year. Nothing a couple can do to prepare if they get a name hit. But, for everything else my advice is to read as much as u can on other peoples experiences at the interviews. So, you can try to be prepared for anything. Also, triple check all forms before sending them in. I was so worried about Othman having 2 forms to fill out to bring to the interview. We went over them while chatting online. But, I was still worried cuz I am a worrywart in the worse way. I nagged him quite a bit in the days leading up to the interview.
I wish for visas to be issued soon to those still waiting. Keep the faith!
Also , for those whose interviews are coming up soon make sure u leave nothing at home cuz u never know if they might want to see it or not. Be well prepared and confident. And pray ...pray...pray...pray
