I thought that when your AOS went to Cali. it was approved with no interview... but the e-mail that I got says it was transfered to Missouri..... is this bad??? what do you guys think??

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On November 14, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.
LaL
it means you got transferred back.

Is that your district office? Then I think you will have an interview if they are sending it back to your office. Good luck Sarah and Rachid! I don't know why they sent it to California then back to you but maybe that is common, I'm not sure.

I don't think it's bad news! I think maybe they just decided to do the interview because they're not swamped with work.

it happens from time to time that i have noticed in the AOS forums. i am pretty certain you won't find out a *reason* for the re-transfer. Good news is there is action on your case. i would love any sort of action at this point. a touch would do even.

no he has to get a police report from where were are in the US. I asked if we needed one from Morocco too and they said no. Phew! We have one but it's from June so I don't know if that would be good still.

Good luck to you and Rachid!
