Filling in the pack3 forms now, it has a question on the DS 156 Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition for you.....

Is the answer yes or no? is the petition Amie done for me a immigrant or non immigrant petition huh.gif
Yodrak
David,

The 'safe' thing to do would be to answer the question 'yes' and fill in the information for the petition that Amie submitted for you. And write on the next line 'no other petitions'.

That would tell the consular officer everything they could want to know about the issue.

Hello Yodrak, thanks for the reply...just read this

Nonimmigrant visa for spouse (K-3) - It is important to note that application for the nonimmigrant visa for spouse (K-3) who married a U.S. citizen must be filed and the visa must be issued in the country where the marriage took place. After the visa process has been completed, and the visa is issued, the spouse can travel to the United States to wait for the processing of the immigrant visa case.
Two petitions are required:
Petition for Alien Relative, Form 1-130; and
Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Form I-129F

Looks as if the answer should be a no now, so confusing this process lol
Yodrak
Amie&David,

Yes, especially when a K1 applies information about K3s that is aimed at other issues.
