I know exactly what you're talking about. The two weeks (yes I know it was quick) of AP were the hardest. But it is so amazing when you finally get that call from him and he tells you he has good news! kicking.gif

You mean it gets harder? huh.gif Sigh...today is day 82 since mailing, 71 since NOA1. I know its well within a reasonable time, but helpsmilie.gif

All of the steps are hard! But waiting out the AP, I'm doing a lot more nail biting. I think because the other steps have a more or less set timeline and you kind of know how long to expect between each step; it makes it more predictable. But looking at ALL of the varying times for AP for each individual case, there really is no predictable time line. At this point, any day could be the day. I can't overlook the fact that I may be saying that for the next few months! ClockWatch2.gif I'm keeping the faith that it will be in this next week. In the meantime, I'm going to be doing a lot of this: eb0dfafc.gif

He/she may not make it out alive. unsure.gif Take your pick: random bullets, carjackings, rape, murder, crack addicts-any of which is reason enough to not take a cruise down Prospect.

On a happier note, Westport is a must to frequent! It's like it's own little town of drinking establishments, night clubs and a great place to people watch!

Oh-and the Plaza. Definitely a must to visit too. Especially at Christmas time. It is decorated soooooooo beautifully. And it's a great place to go shopping.

KC is known as the City of Fountains as well. There are a lot of beautiful things there. Not to mention home of the KC Chiefs!!!!!!!!! Go Chiefs!

I sang in Topeka in 2002 or 2003 for the Governors inogeration(I can't spell it) and made the front page of two different KS papers!

I lived in Wichita for college. Went to Friends University. GO FU! laughing.gif

But I lived in the KC burbs in Shawnee Mission for all of high school. I also lived in KCMO right off the Paseo about 5 min from the Plaza.oh the memories....

I've been to Prospect many times. Only once did I go at night, which was the scariest thing ever!

Westport was a nice area, but it has been getting worse and worse over time. But there are some really neat stores to shop at during the day.

GO ROYALS! GO CHIEFS!

I MISSS KANSAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crying.gif cray5ol.gif

Okay anyway, it's Tuesday. I am about to go to lunch. Spent all morning playing on the computer and doing a little work. I hurt my knee yesterday. Dunno what's wrong with it, but it hurts when I walk or stand on it. Oh well, I gotta go for now. Lunch time! 45 min of watching Gilmore Girl's.

I was thinking that we should make a thread about Casa and possible outcomes after the interviews along with that steps should be taken depending on the outcome such as contacting congressman ASAP if the petition is returned. I thought this might help people understand what happened at the interview and what if anything they should do afterwards.

I just don't want to see a member who is not that active and who isn't familiar with 221g's having their petition sent back and not knowing what to do or not acting fast enough to have it overturned.

Does anyone think this would be helpful?

We could share our experiences with each outsome, give timelines, who to call etc....

I think it's a great idea. Since Casa is notorious for throwing a curve ball. Even adding what information others have about the other ME/NA consulates would be helpful too, IMO.

Wow what an afternoon! So I am sitting here at work in the drive thru window. I look up and see about 15 police officers, some in uniform, others in suits with a file of some sort. Then, another cars pulls up and out jump two uniformed officers with big guns! All of a sudden they ran to a house knocked on the door and went in. I waited..... then slowly they came out. So apparently they raided this house and didn't turn up with anything. so... I also forgot to tell ya'll that Wednesday morning last week, Adil and I were leaving the house to go to work. As soon as I stepped out the door up rolls a three cars, one a cop car, and the other two un marked cars. same scenario but this time there wass only 5. They raided the house across the street from me. Which I was wondering when that was going to happen. But I don't know if they came up with anything. The lady had drug calls three or four times a week between 10 and 1 at night! everytime you heard a car horn you knew what time it was. Well anyway, gotta go to the second job tonight. booooooooo! I wish I was off tonight too. but at least I am off tomorrow night and thursday night. but tomorrow night I have a dentist appt. and thursday I have my placement testing. Anyway, have a good night everyone!

Wow Mrs F, your neighborhood is worse than ours by far. The only problem I have with ours is that we can pass people on the street while we're walking the dog at night, and they won't even speak. Oh yeah, and the guy on the bicycle that tried to run over Abdel and I on purpose. I guess a miniature doberman isn't a scary enough dog.

I just talked to someone who had their interview in Casa today. He had the Asian woman and was approved and is waiting for Security checks. He said the blonde woman denied everyone she had and the Asian woman was approving... it really seems like good news if you get the Asian woman.

Hi everyone
Its been a busy time for me so I haven't been around much....looks like everythings thge same here. I will admit that I was thrown off a little with the yadseus...
You know with the Morrocco interviews, I always suspected that the decisions were made before the interviews were scheduled, and that the blonde lady got all the pre-unapproved cases. It doesn't seem like there is any chance of getting an immediate or soon-after approval if your case reaches her hands. Its sad.

I forgot to tell you guys that last night on our way home I turned on the radio and I heard "caller 4 and 20 win, so call now!". So I called and of course I won! Actually my neighborhood is pretty safe. There's been times when I have walked home at 2am from the bus stop 1/2 mile away. It's a very quiet family area. very good for me. I hate a lot of noise in the night or the morning. The only downfall that makes it not such a great neighborhood is that there is a strip club right around the cornor. Other than that we are mostly surrounded by retirement homes.
