Hey guys

We just got news that our minister has let us down at the last minute. Wedding was meant to be 25th November. I need some help anyone know of anyone who would be able to marry us last minute??? We were hoping to go to Lake placid in NY We are in the Albany region of NY if anyone has any contacts i dont know where to start. I dont fly to NY until this sunday so its awkward trying to arrange things from here.

Any info would be great we dont care who marries us as long as it dont cost too much

Did the minister suggest anyone else? That would be my first call, especially because they have let you down.

Googling came up with the above. I haven't gone beyond that. My suggestion would be if you can't find anyone, call some of the venues and ask who they use or recommend. If you're not having a big event you could always just get hitched at the court house. Or find out through the state who is allowed to marry you. Usually it's a judge, sometimes a notary, a justice of the peace. There are even ministers who are not attached to churches but will do it.
