We are thinking of doing the short-cut for DS-230 Part I and II. I just want to ask if anyone used the James Shortcut on DS-230? So, if NVC says that the DS-230 has been generated can we just use the short-cut and send it right away? I am from Philippines, it says there that "This DS-230 shortcut is primarily designed for those who only have to send in a DS-230 Part I."

every country asks for different documents. here is the list for manila according to another forum member:

1. DS230 Form - Part 1 signed only still u must answer and submit part 2 but don't signed it.
2. Birth Certificate (Spouse)
3. NBI Clearance (For Abroad)
4. Police Clearance (6 months before your spouse reach 16 on all the city/province she lives) (Must be valid for abroad)
5. Marriage Certificate
6. Passport Photocopy (Colored)

i sent a colored photocopy of the passport but other used b/w and they seem to work ok. they are still reviewing our DS230 and hope they give an answer next week or at least before december. i want to fly to manila for Christmas but can't until case is complete
