Thanks aussiewench-we know there was a major breakdown and we appreciate the efforts of all to restore and preserve as much as possible. I know it wasn't easy!

Ok I found the new site...Rhonda thanks for posting it on Yahoo, I had no idea how to get into it.
Well I posted a pic of my ring, I figured I would share with everyone, it is a pic from the advertisement online, Adrian didnt want me to tell everyone where he got if from but I dont care (it came from Walmart ) I actually picked it out and told him about it so when he was in California in Nov. he went to Walmart and found it. I really like it so I guess that is what matters, he said after we are married he wants to replace the middle diamond with a bigger one. (it doesnt matter to me)

I'm trying to figure out how to use this new site. I clicked on "reply" instead of "quote" as we used to do. We'll see what happens.OK, it worked. So then what is the "quote" for? If you click on it, it changes color and goes from a plus + sign to a negative - sign.
Does anybody know?

I am gonna check out the ring jkb919, there is nothing wrong with this ring coming from Wal-Mart. I have numerous rings from them and I cherish them as much as I do all the others. The ring I used to propse to Paul came from walmart. What matters is that you love it and that it came from your spouse's heart.

Hi everyone! Nice to see you back! Well guess what NEIL IS HERE!!!! He got his visa Friday and we flew him out Saturday at 1pm! He arrived last night and we had a surprise party! All my friends had the lights off in my house and we walked in and they yelled SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!! He was so SHOCK!!!! lol...

Dru-a lot of us have been having trouble receiving mail from Jamaica- I've been waiting for something mailed over 2 months ago. I assume that I will not receive that mailing. If you only have one certified copy of your marriage certificate, and if you want to receive it faster perhaps you want to consider express mail for speed and safety.

There are Fed-Ex offices throughout the island; if you check their website it will give you the exact sites; also I've heard that DHL ships from there also. Those options shouldn't take any longer than it does to ship from here. Also there is registered mail at the post offices; that is more secure and I received a mailing in about 10 days.
Dru-OMG your pictures are so beautiful. You two make such a lovely couple. I have to say we have the most beautiful brides and grooms (to be too) from this forum. I hope that one day soon I will make a lovely bride too.
One thing that I did notice is about this new site is that if you make several posts consecutively; it will be combined on one post. Probably until someone else posts.

Just wanted to let ya'll know that we recieved the GC on Saturday morning. They turned it out in exactly 10days! not bad.
like the new site. it's a little fresher
Henry also started his first "on the books" job today! He's actually working for the inns that I work for, but he's donig construction and remodeling. It's great to have him up and going now. $15 an hour to start. not bad. he's happy.
that means i'm happy.

He loved it!!! He was so excited to meet everyone! I had brownstewed beef, rice n peas, mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, etc...all his favorites! We had a cool cake too...I will post it on the yahoo site....
He went through immigration POE way easy. No questions nothing. Just said man your coming at the wrong time!!! : ) He made friends on the plane and they all came out with him and hugged me and said how glad they were we were together!!! That was sweet!
THE pilot...also came out and gave him a CERTIFICATE..hahaha...of arrival to the US and first time flyer...it was way hilarious....we are going to frame it.
He is laying in bed watching soccer...lol....fully enjoying his new life. We went around yesterday and met with the remaining of my friends who couldnt make it to the party!

We finally made travel plans - Damien and I are going to JA March 3-6. It's a short trip but at least he's going home to see his family before finding a new job. And we also have tickets for July.

wow, i thought i was in the wrong place for a second!!
Good afternoon fam.
I was out of work on Friday, i went to get my wedding dress
. Squito and I went to a bridal expo on Saturday with my mom. We made the deposit on reception hall for our big bashment wedding this summer (save the date, July 15th!!!). He went back to the Social Security Office this morning to find out why he has not yet received his card, they mispelled our address but they corrected it now and said he should receive it in 10 business days, let's hope that's true this time. Anyhoo, it's been a very tiring and hectic weekend but i'm just glad that our big wedding plans are coming together. I'm going to catch up (which means that I may need to check the archive).
