Well first of all,what a fantastic site!!!!!!
A bit about us,my name is Ellen and my fiance is Timmy.I am in Sydney Australia and he is in oklahoma USA.We met in chat wayyyyyy back in march 2004,spoke everyday for 10 months and then i decided to go meet him.Best decision i made.He was everything and more i could have asked for! I left here on Australia day 2005 and spent 3 amazing weeks with him.After flying home we kept the constant contact and i got to go back in October 2006 for another 3 weeks ,and that time he proposed,we filled out the forms to apply for the I-129F fiance application visa.We got approved 23rd August 2006.It seems like it has taken forever.
I have some issues though so if anybody can help i would greatly sppreciate it as even with reading threads and other advice i am still a little confused.I called the consulate in sydney but to no avail.
1.i got the papers to send back and it said nothing about the $130 filing fee but i know i have to send it but do i :
a) only send the form DS-230I with the filing fee in the first contact? or do i have to send DS-156 &DS-156k all together in that first contact?
b)my fiancee never sent the I-129F packet to me so when i read about sending all that i don't have it.
c)reciepts from when i travelled there i had sent over for the I-129F application and did not get photocopies,so now what?
