Heads up !
You may want to verify with NVC that the name of the Beneficiary is correct. You can call and inquire or you can wait for the letter that says they have your case. I decided to call NVC and check. Sure enough, Fernanda's last name had grown and was 2 characters longer! Someone had posted a thread the other day about this.
Apparently some things are manually entered into the NVC system, rather than scanned. Anyway, the lady working with me was very helpful and she was able to make the correction to the name. Now, when our petition arrives in Rio, we should not have anything to fix!
In our case, my "second" last name was misspelled on the letter we received, but when I called them the file had already been sent to CDJ. The lady who answered told me that they had checked the correct last name- she read it out for me and it was OK- but just had written it incorrectly on the letter. She also told me that the consulate takes the name on the passport and on the application to process the visa anyway so that we should be OK for the interview and the approval of the visa.

NVC has a lot of trouble with names spelled incorrectly. I had a similar problem.
