So we were approved at USCIS on Oct 17th and got our NOA2 hardcopy on the 25th but NVC still has not received our case? I have been checking the automated telephone service the past few days and it states they do not have our case. How long does it take? Is the automated system correct or should I call and talk to a human being? I did email them but have yet to receive a response. It seems the people who were approved around the same time as us or just before have already been notified by the NVC and are even being sent on to their embassies.... I am worried that USCIS has F-d up again...

BlueRain77!!! Don't rely on the automated message because it is purely for immigrant visa's. It won't say that yours has been received even if it has been! You need to talk to an operator anytime between 6pm-12am Eastern time (gmt -5).
Good Luck
(I was doing the same (checking the automated service) until I decided to speak to someone, and so I asked. Also they email back within 3-5 business days...)

I'm not sure, but i dont think they put in their automated system the K1 visa, so, you better talk to some operator and ask...
I've read some posts that say they dont put on the system, that's why i am saying, but anyways, it's always better to talk to someone.
Good luck

K1 are not entered into autoated system, call live person and email 2 times per week.
The average wait is 4-5 weeks recently.

I ended up receiving a response to my inquiry via email and they said it had been recently forwarded to the Embassy! Woo hoo! I just hope we get all the papers and such before I leave for Christmas for two weeks! Luckily I will be only about 3 hrs drive away this time as opposed to 4000 miles! lol Thank god for mail forwarding!
