Our DS-230 was generated today so I sent my 230 packet according to Jame's shortcuts today as well.

I'm wondering now if the black & white photocopy for the passport biographic page that I sent will be ok.....

I know some of you sent colored photo copies.

Anyone have success with black & white?
I didn't see anywhere requesting colored P-copy specifically.

Nupe, it doesnt need to be in color. There's no specific requirement I know of. I asked my sweetie to get color copies and send to me just after she received her new passport. My sweetie is so overloaded with copies of documentation I've send to her. She's got copies of everything. I'll bet it's stack of stuff 3-4 inches thick!! Lots of reference info on the medical exam and interview process. If you've not done so, be sure u send your sweetie several nice sturdy Ziploc bags to store the important docs she'll need to keep safe.

Just ordinary kitchen storage bags from the supermarket. It's so damp there in the Phils, especially now, the oversized bags are great for keeping things dry. Since you've been there you can appreciate this. I send nearly all of my plastic grocery bags there to her. They work great for stuffing boxes of goodies to her, just like bubble wrap. Anything the locals can find to tote their things they will use forever. I'm sure there are bunches of Kroger, WalMart and Meijers plastic bags in circulation on Leyte now!!!

The black and white photocopy of the passport biographic information pages are perfectly fine. Please remember, NVC never says anywhere that they want color photocopy.
