Hello, Is anyone else having trouble signing in to check the progress of their case on the U.S.C.I.S Website? I'm just wondering if it's the computer I'm using, or if that part of their website is down??? Any assistance will be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks in advance for your Help! And... Best to Luck to EVERYONE out there waiting!!!!!

I HATE the new website. I have not been able to log in through the old link since yesterday, I have to go to the new homepage and enter my case number on the bottom right. VERY annoying.

My main problem with the new site is that it will tell you how to do something, but has almost no links to take you there.

Yea, it seems to be crashed now.
I work in web development and that site is one of the most user unfriendly sites Ive encountered.

TongandWei
I don't like the new website either. Its links are not working.
shree_anil
I tried to login on Saturday and today. It definetly is down.

Riblet, try this link once the site is back up: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp
riblet
Thanks but that's the link I've already been using -- I have a bad feeling that it won't be back up since they are using the new site now.

It was working with the new site, but the error message started this week-end only. Hang in there and keep checking, I bet their IT team is working on it.

I posted this in the K-1 forum already, but try pasting this into your browser. It seems the login-page is down but you can direct login using this:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/logon.do?...me=<username here>&password=<password here>&language=ENGLISH

JessiPooh
Yup same prob here! Frusterating!!!!

Small problem with the link I posted before, the forum is cutting it off wrong:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/logon.do?
userType=CU&username=<username here>&password=<password here>&language=ENGLISH

Like this, but make it into one line in your browser.

I did this but it's not working for me... any advice? Maybe I am doing it wrong...
I Quit
I suggest that everyone e-mail the Webmster uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov to let them know how much the new site sucks and go to every page and select "Not Useful" for the survey.
calOC
Didn't work for me either.

Try:

https:// egov.immigration.gov/cris/logon.do?userType=CU&username=<username here>&password=<password here>&language=ENGLISH

1) Copy the above URL into Word
2) Remove <username here> and replace with your user name
3) Remove <password> and replace with your password
4) Copy the entire new URL, and past into the address bar for your browser
5) Hit “enter” …. This should take you directly to your portfolio.

Please remove the spaces I entered between the "https://" and "egov.immitration.gov...."
I needed to add spaces to keep the editor from making an active link within the text.

The entire URL should be one continuous line. No spaces or CR.

Oops, sorry can't type.

Step 3 should read:

3) Remove <password here> and replace with your password
riblet
That worked smile.gif thanks!

Still get the error message. I am using a Mac though and I cannot use IE. Usually I use Firefox and it works. The great designers of the website think everytime I am using a different browsers than IE that I am using "Netscape".
Natty Bumppo
I've checked with IE and Foxfire. Both work ... although ... I use XP.

Just a thought ... did you remember to delete the spaces I inserted between the https:// and the "egov... "
Our Mao
workd for me too but no change! ahhhh

i need a touch... sniff sniff...also.. i've noticed its been a slow week last week for K-3s.. k-1s, on the other hand.. is zooming by like crazy..tons of approvals around Nov 2 and 3... ok.. this week should be K-3's turn!!!
JessiPooh
Our Mao I agree. It's K-3s turn! There was a K-3 approval at I2U though. They filed in mid to late August I think and his file was trasnferred to Chicago on 10/31 and then a few days later he received the e-mail stating he was approved.
Natty Bumppo
Agree ... It would be so nice to see some K3 approvals.

The wait is soooo long .....
