unless I am mistaken, I would think that at least the fees (page 59) and the photograph specifications (page 33) in the Guide to Naturalization are not current.
According to the USCIS website and the current instructions, the fees are $330 for the form and $70 for fingerprinting now.
Also according to the website, photographs should be passport-style now.
Is there more information in the Guide known to be outdated?

with Dan---Dan, OP meant the USCIS official Guide to Nauralizationmanifest: I don't remember any other differences from the Guide.
ALWAYS check fee and special instructions from the uscis form download page.
