DS-230 helpsmilie.gif

The consulate in Vietnam will not issue an interview day for my Fiancée until they have received the completed DS-230, which is on its way to my fiancée (by post) as you read this.

Can my fellow “Vietnam Visa Seekers” tell me what is required for the DS-230, Could we use the same DS-230 documents we used at the 2005 interview for the 2006 interview? According to my fiancée back in 2005 the consulate returned all documents to her after the consulate denied her petition.

Thanks
dalegg
The DS-230 is a simple form your fiance fills out and can turn back in the same day. You are not required to return an affidavit of support or any supporting evidence along with it. Do not use a copy of the old DS-230. Have her take a couple of hours to refill out the new one and send it back.

There may be requiements for specific types of photos to go along with the DS-230 but that should be in the instructions.
