Hi All,

Is everyone able to get into the USCIS website ok? It's not working for me get a page error. Maybe they are doing some server maintenance.

I was thinking the same thing too. kitkat1 said that they changed the site last week, so most of the links are broken.

Phew...I am glad it is not just me.....thought I was losing it! wacko.gif

With any luck they will fix the 5 email problem for online accounts....well we can be hopeful laughing.gif

The site is not down. Last week they changed the site drastically to a dynamic design killing all old pages, so if you had links bookmarked to any pages on their site they will be broken, this has caused problems with any website that had links into the USCIS site even Google search.

I know the changed it last week but I was still able to log on until this morning....
Maybe it is down only since this a.m.?

also just tried loggin in for case. site is up only I could not get to case log in page. Was slow then an error came.

SoL.
It seems like it's broken if you wanna log in to check the status of your case. I tried and got a weird message:

500 Servlet Exception
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Cannot find bean under name user_type_cd

So I guess they are still working on that. On the new site, the letters are soooo small to read, wow....

I just checked the status page myslef. The error is on the USCIS side - sems like something wrong with the scripting not finding something - i'm sure they will have it back up next week.

Yup they changed the layout, Also noticed that NOA's over the past 2 or 3 weeks are finally being updated in their mailboxes.
I guess y'all can stop ranting and raving as I did, noticing that the approval was posted 2 weeks after receiving it in the mail

If you go in this route, with your case number youcan get to the status page, but I can not get through the customer login page to check for updates.

I'm glad it worked! Now you can check every 30 minutes on a Sunday hahaha.

Good luck guys!

Looks like their server is having a java script problem, can't find bean means that some file or database is not accesible by the the script. So something is broken.

You can put your case # in the box in the lower right hand corner of their new frontpage and it will pull your case status up but you can't see the updates, how depressing. And just today I noticed someone who filed 2 days before me was NOA2 on Oct 18 after only 23 days and those CSC morons haven't even touched my case since Oct 1, granted we know they dont update the site all the time. Geez the CSC idiots make us TSA folks look like total efficient professionals!!!!

Actually, I checked this out... the LOGIN page is down, but you can still get in if you set it up like this:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/logon.do?...me=<username here>&password=<password here>&language=ENGLISH

I tried this and got in this morning...

Hi! I still can't get in... Thanks anyway!
I Quit
I suggest that everyone e-mail the Webmster uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov to let them know how much the new site sucks and go to every page and select "Not Useful" for the survey.

Make sure you replace <username here> with your username and <password here> with your password. The same as you would type it into the normal screen. Copy the entire line, with your username and password, and paste it into your browser.

Found a small problem with how the forum handles the pasting...

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/logon.do?
userType=CU&username=<username here>&password=<password here>&language=ENGLISH

Try it this way, but make it into one line.

WOW! Look at this error message now!

javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Cannot find anyone at USCIS who can give me a straight answer about my petition

What do you guys think? laughing.gif
