Does anyone know if a drug screening is a part of the medical exam that is conducted for the K1 Visa?

They do blood tests... so I would say yes

oh really? mmmm i just had my drug test during my driver's license application, it was a quick test, they used my urine sample...twas negative... so they have blood testing for it....hate it...
I really don't think they do drug tests with blood. This topic comes up often here and I really think that standard drug tests use urine. I know that they can detect drugs through blood but I don't think that is SOP.
Maybe I am wrong and I certainly would not want to imply that you don't have to worry about drug use through this procedure but I think that their extent of drug probing is the questions that the panel physician asks.

Drug tests can be done with blood or urine as well as hair samples and a number of other unusual methods.
