When I first joined VJ, I had some trouble figuring out what most of them meant. So I decided to make a list of the ones I managed to figure out.
Some of them have to do with the visa process, others are just acronyms people use often when posting and made me go...

AOS - Adjustment Of Status
AP - Advance Parole
CO - Consular Officer
CSC - California Service Center
EAD - Employment Authorization Document
IMBRA - International Marriage Broker Regulation Act
NSC - Nebrasca Service Center
NOA - Notice Of Action
NVC - National Visa Center
POE - Point Of Entry
RFE - Request For Evidence
SSN - Social Security Number
TSC - Texas Service Center
USC - United States Citizen
VSC - Vermont Service Center

All the rest:
LOL - Laughing Out Loud
ROFLMAO - Roll On the Floor Laughing My A** Out
WTF - What The F***
OMG - Oh My God
SO - Significant Other (I think)


I'm fairly new to VJ, so there is a lot of things I left out (because I don't know what it means, I never ran into that acronym before etc..)

A friend in the Philippines used to always say LOL to me and I thought it met lots of love until she straightened me out
