Hello All,
I know this question mat have been answered before. I received my I-864 package today. It categorically stated that it should be returned with the most current year tax return (2005). I have already gathered the ones for the last three years. Is it necessary to send all those or will the requested 1 year suffice. Will my embassy request the three years or they will accept what the NVC submit to them?
Any answers or suggestions will be highly appreiciated.....
Full Version: I-864 Question
The instructions with the new I-864 form just indicates the most recent year tax return, (2005) but also states that you can provide past 3 years (2005-2003) returns. Copies are acceptable, and if you have time order the tax transcripts from the IRS, they are free, and are better than copies of the returns.
Also if your income level is well above 125% poverty line consider using I-864EZ, less documentation is required with that form.

i used the I-864EZ form and submitted last year's tax info and last 6 months of check stub

Currently im waiting for my I 864 generated so I can send that information in, My only questions i have generated the barcode using james shortcut below the Barcode there is a text which show its provided by IDautomation.com , is there is anyway to eliminate this text.
