hey everyone

Some of my wifes family want to visit us here, what are the procedures for them to get a tourist visa? Does the consulate need anything from us? What do they need to bring with them to their interview?

thanks

According to the Immigration and Naturalization Law, each visa applicant must show to the consular officer that he/she has strong ties to their country of residence, and must show that they intend to depart the U.S. after their temporary visit. For that, they can present proof of their strong ties to Brazil (e.g.: labor card, income tax return, pay stubs, marriage/birth certificates, bank statements, car documents, school statements, etc.).
