Great! Now we have some sort of a list....and since Lou Lou received NOA recently, it means that Melissa's NOA is on its way...

And my other observation is that it generally takes up to 2 months from filing to receive NOA1 from Vermont.

Good stuff. I should be seeing our NOA soon. At this point, as I said, my husband has received the stamp and left for the UK for 6 weeks! The NOA will just get the ball rolling. Did you also receive the Biometrics appointement letter?

Yes, the biometrics letter came the same day as the NOA. I'm due to go this coming Monday.

I only received NOA today but what a relief anyway.
Now waiting for Biometrics and couple more months for a 10 year old GC.
I see you filed couple days after us so you should be getting your NOA pretty soon.

It's the standard NOA. Everyone gets that. If you feel you want to send more, then send it, but personally I didn't.

So I got today a weird blue letter from USCIS with a check attached saying that this is not needed at this time, it has a receipt number but no NOA...I'm confused

I think it might be the standard RFE letter because it says to send the information listed on this form but there is no list, just an attached check. The postmark says Friday so hopefully soon I'll see something more.

I received my NOA, but no biometrics. Is there anyone else in my situation or I'm the only one? I don't know if I should call them or just wait. Any ideas?




My NOA is the earliest one, but other people got their biometrics and I didn't. Talking about leapfrogging! :-)

Mailed off the I-751 3rd week in Sept to Vermont and today (09 Nov) received the I-797C, Notice of Action. Now I guess just have to wait for the Biometrics appt.
Don't imagine all that will be completed prior to dec 17 2006, thats when my Drivers lic. expires, lol Guess will have to fork over more $$ for a 1 yr drivers lic. then go back again when I have the 10 yr visa!! Nothing better than standing in line at the DMV!!!

The NOA came today, but not the biometrics appointment. That can be delayed as long as they want since Mike won't be home until right before Christmas then off again for a few weeks in January.

I filed on 09/25/06 and received the NOA yesterday from VSC. I got the stamp on 10/19/06 in NYC.

I am the last one who filed in August at VSC who hasn't received the NOA yet. Should I be worried?

What state do you live in? I just got mine the other day and I sent my application the day after you. I live in Massachusetts. Perhaps you live a little further away so it took longer to get there and perhaps the NOA is taking longer to get to tyou?

My first NOA came on Saturday and today (Monday) I received the biometric appointment for 11/16 at 10am. I mailed off my passport photos today to VSC with a copy of my first NOA and so I hope after the biometrics appointment I will be able to forget about all this until Vermont reaches my file!

Since i been following this topic.. I just want you all know im done with my finger prints & Biometrics today @ the local Office of Norfolk VA.. it was fast and easy..She only took a print of my index finger took my picture on her computer & thats it..

Finally received my NOA!!

Hey, guys! I also got my NOA today on 11/18/2006 with the receipt day of 11/14/2006. Woooohooo! I didn't get my biometric appointment yet, though.... Oh and I signed myself online up to get e-mail updates about my case status as I have my application number, finally.

The only weird thing - it says they received my paperwork on October 31....whoah! It took them literally 1 month to come into conclusion that they finally got it. (My check was cashed on the last day of Septemeber! )
