I have read on another info site that the EVAF, electronic visa application form, must be used after November 1st. My fiancee is from the Philippines and she received a notice from the Manila Embassy, dated October 25th, that they have received my NOA2 and they sent her a letter of what she will need at her interview. The notice says nothing about the EVAF. It also doesn't mention anything that she will need from me. It didn't give her an appointment date either.
My questions are:
Does she need to use the EVAFs?
When will she receive a notice of the interview appointment date?
Will she need anything from me for her interview?
I would like to hear from someone who is scheduled an appointment after November 1st, and what the Manila Embassy has requested from them.

Hello,
My Maria just received a similar notice in Manila. The EVAF is required, beyond your earlier paperwork. You will receive a separate, future notice of the scheduled interview date besides the pre-interview packet. There are plenty of earlier posts here on what to expect, including the St Luke's Hospital Extension medical exam, the NBI police clearance, your financial support documents, evidence of relationship, photographs, official Philippine birth certificate & passport, the seminar attendance & stamp for citizens departing overseas, etc. I believe you can call stateside at 888-877-9888 soon, regarding confirmation of the interview date, but be prepared to wait awhile. The final stretch to the interview process begins. Good luck.

You can also write the embassy directly asking them about the EVAF. You should be very specific regarding the situation and provide them with the NVC number, if you have it. Most U.S. embassies are pretty good about returning email, just give them a week to respond.
