Just called MTL. They are processing Feb/March. They told me to call back next week. Hopefully we'll start to see new interview dates. On a side note the female operator was pleasant, very different from my previous experiences calling MTL.

Dont worry, I sent my packet in Feb too and they are still scheduling mid to late Feb packets. They might be doing some of March too but as I said before I'll believe it when I see it

Just called. July has been scheduled full. Lady said August/September, call back in two weeks... same freaking bullsh!t as always. Sorry ,I'm just having a really bad bad bad day.

Thanks for the support. Seriously, today was one of those days in which I didn't even bother going to work (didn't have to teach so no biggie). I do not enjoy what I am doing @ the sh!thole, I mean the College; we are freakin away from both our families even if we are together; Bren is done with school (so here comes CICanada sh!t). Sorry for the rant, it's just insanity.

I know exactly how you feel, like nothing matters right now. I wish everyone would just STOP asking me when I'm going! We all don't know and it's driving us insane. I was so happy just to see someone in this forum finally get an interview this week, it made me cry

I hope you hear something positive soon, I know how we feel about everything and I am sure that you are feeling the pains this process brings. If things were going better down south I would tell Sharon to forget it and come up here. I will be more attentive to your post than in the past. Rant on sweetheart that is all we have left that keeps us sane

I hear you, after being asked the same thing every day by more then one person, my last nerve is raw. I'm to the point where I don't answer the phone, door or emails. I go to work come home see Alan on line go to bed. They have our lives on hold for as long as they want. Oh then there is the "reach in the YMCA's mail box to find yet again Nothing". I was wondering though, how good is the medical, RCMP check and passport pictures good for. Yet another worry!!!

Medical is a year as well.....can be used for the AOS if not past due....fat chance of that when we're waiting 6 months just to get the interview,,,oh well, fingers crossed.

They told me to schedule an interview before returnign the list so I had mine back end of April....hate to pay the $$$ again

Just this week, when I picked up my results, the doctor's assistant told me that it's good for six months... so better check that one. Maybe for AOS is different?

Maybe someone should call MTL and ask them... hopefully they'll answer. They never answered my email about that. It's not nice if it's only good for 6 months since it's so expensive and they're backlogged so it's not our fault (!) but I wouldn't be surprised.

I just called and FINALLY an interview date has been scheduled... Aug 14. I am hoping that Alan gets good news too.

Hope the interview news keeps coming in! Looks like the MTL waiting room thingie can finally be updated, lol - it's about time! (And I guess you can start believing that Montreal is actually moving too )

Thanks everyone...I asked if they were scheduling interviews and the lady said they were trying so hopefully we will see a lot more interview dates for August. She was the same person I got last Friday, very polite and helpful.

They said it was scheduled on Monday so Im thinking it was scheduled the same time as Rejean's interview and they sent out an appointment letter the same day. I still have not received it in the mail as of today. Maybe tomorrow.

OK... so I just called the DoS. Way better and attentive than MTL by far. Yet, the guy (who actually gives his name mind you, vis a vis you-know-who) told me that everything's in order, just waiting for the Consulate to schedule. Sh!te.... I guess I was expecting a "oh my oh my.... we forgot to tell you that you were approved without interview" AS IF....

In any case, I guess I will never call MTL again. This DoS option seems way better.

I'm starting to doubt that I will call Montreal very often myself I called at 2:10, at 2:20 there was a pick-up and hang up without a wowrd being said. Right now I'm again on hold as I called back. Finally got through and they a rther nice person said I was still on the list and confirmed my address then said that they were working on February and March at this time

Nope, my eyes are not believing what they are seeing. I emailed Montreal a few days ago, and just received this reply today:

Good news. Your appointment is booked for 1Aug07 @ 8:30am. Letter mailed to applicant

I'm still kinda shaking all over, but all of a sudden, we've got to scramble. That's less than TWO WEEKS from today!

The reason they took so long to schedule them in was because MTL dropped the ball on their paperwork and it was probablly laying around on someones desk and they were put into the system 2 months later.
