Also, yesterday both jonandmary and wolverine got interview dates! wooohooooo. May 16 and 22, respectively.

And just read that Seishi got their date of May 15.

She hasn't updated her time line but I know she did, she told me.
She just went down to the States to visit her man for like a month so she was probably too excited to let you know Liz.

I called last week & they said Montreal entered it (or whatever they do) on April 10th. Are you saying they received yours the 11th of did you mean they said they hadn't yet on the 11th (When I called on the 11th they still "received" it.)?

I just realized that melusine AND Rae&Scott's packet 3's were received on 4/8. I was thinking that melusine was in march or something. I sure hope they can at least give us our dates soon.

I called before the 11th, I called around the 7th...lol I forgot, it was a week.

She said it was entered into the system on the 8th! LOL

She also said I'm eligible for an interview but they haven't assigned me a date yet...surprise surprise.

Wow they were busy bees on the 8th!! I wonder how long it takes for them to start assigning interview dates. I wonder if you all get your dates say tomorrow, will I get mine 2 days later? I'm obsessing and I CAN"T STOP!!

I can't stop obsessing either. But I feel a ton better since the few ahead of us got their dates and so I'm still hoping for late May (though thinking it may be early June).

Well I posted this a number of other places, but I'll post here as well for the fun of it. We got our interview date: June 2. So happy.

ok folks..
I've added an extra day to the approximate number of days montreal takes to enter you into their system
Everyone prevously had the 6 days , but if you're still waiting for your interview, your date for "date mtl entered you into their system" has now an additional day from when you sent your packet 3 in

So, since most people don't know this date, I'll just add 7 days from now on

but on the chance that mtl mentioned it to you in a phone call, you can give me the date, and I can put it in for you

I called DOS today for the first time, thanks to all for the advice and number! They had packet 3 in the system, since the end of April but no interview date as of yet... I'll call again next week!

Ok so I called DOS again (2x this week). I know I am anxious .. hency my name!

So I am not sure if people knew this or not so I thought I would share incase you didn't. When I called today the lady advised me that the consulates sit down one day a month (not necessarily the same day each month) and book the appointments for the following month. She said since they rec'd my information on May 14, 2008 then when they sit down in June to book July's interviews I should get an interview in July! I hope she was right and wasn't just feeding me information. She said she didn't know what day in June they would do it. But if she is right then at least we know that they only set appointments once a month (or I know anyways if you guys already knew that!). Please correct me if I was misinformed! Thanks
