just one question , it sais i could buy the envelope there I already got it its a huge envelope , my question is I read somewhere that the visa is just a card in the passport so if they need an envelope just for the passport why does it have to be the biggest ex envelope the post office got ?
i meen its no biggy since i already got it am just curriouse if the visa is realy just the size of the passport

I know I know!! I was looking at your timeline and thinking you sent your packet back a month before me, but you actually sent it back just a couple days before me!! That's crazy. There are still people who sent their packet back in June and haven't heard anything about an interview. I have no idea how Montreal is scheduling their interview, unless you all have interveiws in November!!??

I have no idea how they scetual the dates neather , am thinking could it be cose I send a lot of evidance when we aplied for the I 129f , ( I send all the evidance not knowing they only required it at the interview ,I send pics letters resives and a lot of stuff as evidance )

yup yup amazing for sure , i saw the envelope and expected a RFE but not a date , but wow this defenatly made my day who knows maybe they hired more people to catch up on the backlog

This is SO weird... our timelines are virtually the same but yet the opposite... we got the speedy Vermont approval and you got the Vermont backlog by sending your stuff a few days after we did, LOL. But we got the backlogged Montreal and delayed interview and you got the speedy interview...LOL

So in the end our visa process have taken the same amount of time. How funny!

I think I better get my husbands medical scheduled sooner than the end of October (had planned on Oct 29th), just in case Montreal is trying to get caught up before Xmas... Wasnt planning on hearing anything until Jan/Feb... who knows with Montreal?!!!!

After seeing Lona's post that she had an interview, I thought I would email Montreal, asking if they had a date for me yet. I never did expect a response. 20 minutes later, they replied with a "yes, your interview is Nov. 9th, 9am. A letter was mailed to you 2 days ago.".

Needless to say, I spent the rest of my Friday night stunned. I couldn't function, and I'm still wiping drool from my chin.

I know there are people on here who sent their packets back way before me. I say keep emailing Montreal. When I emailed them, I said "I understand that there are people who have sent Packet 3's back for K-1 visas in July, and have been notified of an interview. Could you tell me if I also have an interview?".

I've got my fingers crossed for all of you!! Maybe we'll all see each other in Montreal in November.

shew... now that I have an interview, there is a whole new list of worries... like what if they don't approve me?!

and as far as worring about the aproval i wont worry about that cose I know if i start it will just drive me nuts for the next month meanwhile I got other stuff to think off , like start packing spend as much time as possible with the growen aliens ( my kids ) since they wont move with me ,
my thinking is why worry about something that you can avoid for the next few weeks when time comes then go with the flow stay cool stay your self stay calm and polite cose I bet those officers look double if you apear nervouse or scared , so I keep remindidng my self relax theyre people just like you and me I can fake a smile just like they can , so just smile and answer honestly

Just tried, and got the "they don't take phone calls" answer, so now I wait for a response to my email, which read:
"It's come to my attention that cases filed weeks after us in June, as well as July filers are now receiving interviews; we filed in early June. Have we received an interview?"

First of all sorry and congratulation to everyone I have missed, I've been living inside my own mind for a while now.

Montreal seems to be all over the map lately! 2 left in May, 3 in June, 2 in July and 1 in August to get their dates. From the list that I have that leaves 8 couples waiting for their dates my thinking is that getting dates is going very well and you who have your dates also have ample time to get everything sorted and the trip planned well in advance. All the best to everyone with a Montreal date in hand and to those still waiting I hope God answers your prayers very soon, sooner than the date you yourself are thinking of.

From what I've gathered from reviews on here, your interview time has no bearing on when you actually have your interview. That it's more or less first-come, first-served.

hmmm, I was wondering this myself. Because our interview is at 9am, can we still show up at 7:45, or will they keep us outside till it's closer to our interview time? If I can get my interview over with early enough, I plan to drive back home (8hrs), otherwise I'll have to stay another night in Montreal.
