Hopefully she'll get all the right info now. Otherwise they're going to be in for a rude awakening in a year or so.

Buy a few extra timbits on your way to the Consulate. If by some chance, the interview starts going bad, just take a few chocolate timbits and roll them under the window to the CO

So what do you guys do, does someone email to see if they have an interview or does one person email to see if they are starting/finishing scheduling for the month?

There is a bathroom on the floor that you will be hanging out on.
And yes you can go first thing in the morning,even though ur interview is at 0900. Pretty much first come, first served

I know they don't issue the Visa's the same day anymore. How long does it take to get mailed? My interview is on a Wednesday and I've booked the Uhaul for the following Saturday. If it doesn't come on the Friday, I need to cancel on the Friday so I'm not charged the cancellation fee. Thanks.

I had my interview on a Wednesday .. they assured me that it would be sent out by Friday ... don't believe what they say as they didn't physically send out the package until Tuesday and it arrived to me on Thursday. U-haul was great .. I had picked up the Truck and loaded it on Monday and picked up the car hauler on Tuesday .. because I did this the three day rental started on the Tuesday. It would have only cost me an extra $60 I think if I had needed it for an extra day.

We email and ask if we have an interview yet..

Save the copy you paid for in case USCIS loses your medical when you do AOS.

Or you can just throw caution to the wind and open it like I did. (the copy, not the other medical)

In average, count 6 business days. No less than that - so if your interview is on Wednesday, you can expect your visa to arrive the next Thursday (not the day after he he, a week after +1 day).
