I was kind of hoping for late Sept but you're right, we're not complaining... but maybe a bit jealous that people in June are getting their interviews only two weeks after us when we were at the end of April/beginning of May! hehe

We're excited though - at least we have a date and it's not later than mid-October!!!

Well I finally got an email from Montreal today. They said he's still not scheduled yet. They said it 'could be' October OR November! What the heck?! Seriously. Are we being punished because we had to cancel twice due to him battling a serious illness? If what they say is true, that means it will be 9 to 10 months from the last interview date. This is rediculous.

Got the letter today ...dated Aug 17.....so when I phoned on Aug 17 and the girl said 'No maam, no interview'

looks straight forward enough.....1 question....why do they tell me about the electronic forms DS-156 when those are the ones they had me send back with the checklist? Odd - I have photocopies regardless.

I believe that the P4 letter includes those DS-156 instructions because there are still people out there who had the old P3 checklist that did not require the electronic forms.

neither our packet 3 instruction nor the packet 4 instruction said we required an electronic DS-156. had it not been for VJ we would have been clueless

I feel like my fiance and I are totally getting screwed with on our interview date. Back in April they said it's be 4 to 6 months then in June they said August or September. Then July they said September or October. Now they're saying October or November. Is it just me or does something not seem right here when other people are getting interview dates right and left? I am thinking of calling my congressman Monday.

Lyric, I'm so sorry that you guys are getting the runaround from Montreal. It makes no sense why you haven't been scheduled another interview yet. I would contact your congressman on Monday to see if they can help.

Do you know when your fiance's case was reentered into their system for an interview? Is it possible that they didn't actually put him back in there?

I don't know WHAT the frig they are doing. The last time I spoke to someone...when we got that weird letter in July that was when it was....'touched' or whatever. I dunno I'm so tired of all this.

Lyric, email Montreal as well on Monday, ask when you entered the system and when you can expect an interview date. Just keep at them!!

If you can't get an answer from the embassy through email or phone, definately get ahold of your congressman. One email and they were able to get the ball rolling for us.
